Adding users on Cloudflare is a simple task and can be done from any device that has an internet connection. When you add a user, they will have access to Cloudflare security services. However, only super administrators have the right to add users to an account.

In this article, we’ll show you how to add users on Cloudflare.
How to Add a User to a Cloudflare Account Using a PC
For this method, you’ll be using your browser to add a user. To do so, follow these steps:
- In the Dashboard, find and select the “Members” tab at the top of the page.
- In the text box that says “Invite members,” type the email addresses of anyone you wish to invite to the Cloudflare account. Make sure to put a comma between each email address.
- Select the “Invite.”
- To accept an invite, you’ll need to access the email from Cloudflare.
- Click on the link, then log in with your Cloudflare details, then select “Join.” You are now successfully a part of the Cloudflare account.
How to Add a User to a Cloudflare Account Using an iPhone
Using Cloudflare on an iPhone takes a little more work than on a PC. First, you’ll need to connect to the Cloudflare servers with your device and configure your DNS settings. To do so, follow these steps:
- Go to the “Settings” menu by tapping on the icon.
- Tap “Wi-Fi,” then tap the small “i” icon on the right of your router’s name.
- In this menu, find the “Configure DNS” tab and tap it. Then switch from “Automatic” to “Manual.”
- Under the “DNS Servers,” tap the “Add Server” option with the green “+” symbol.
- Enter the following IP address: 1.1.1.1
- After entering the IP address, tap “Add Server” again and enter the following: 1.0.0.1
- At the top right corner, tap the “Save” option.
- Exit the settings menu. Your device should be connected to Cloudflare now. If it isn’t, you may need to clear your DNS cache to get it to work correctly.
Doing this offers a bit more privacy protection, which you will want when logging in to your Cloudflare account. To add users to your Cloudflare account, follow these steps:
- In the Dashboard, find and select the “Members” tab at the top of the page.

How to Add a User to a Cloudflare Account Using an Android Device
Android users can also take advantage of Cloudflare’s DNS settings to get better privacy while on a mobile network or public Wi-Fi. To set up the DNS settings on your Android device, do the following:
- Swipe the top menu down, then select “Wi-Fi.”
- In the “Wi-Fi” menu, scroll to the bottom of your router list and select “More Settings.”
- Find the network you’re using and hold your finger down on the icon until the “Modify Network” option pops up on the screen.
- On the next page, select “Advanced options,” then “IP settings.”
- Select the “Static” option.
- Scroll down until you see “DNS 1” and “DNS 2.”
- You will need to change the digits. Before you do, write down the numbers that are there in case you want to switch back to these servers.
- Under “DNS 1,” enter 1.1.1.1. Under “DNS 2” enter 1.0.0.1
- Tap “Save.” You are now connected to the Cloudflare servers.
To add users to your Cloudflare account on Android, follow these steps:
- In the Dashboard, find and select the “Members” tab at the top of the page.

How to Remove Users From Cloudflare
Like adding users, removing users can only be done by the super administrator. Here’s how to remove users from your Cloudflare account:
- Select the “Members” tab at the top of the page.
- Find the username of the user you want to remove.
- Click on the username. On the right, there will be a red icon that says “Revoke.” Click on it.
- You will receive a final confirmation message. Select “Yes, revoke access.”
- Go back to the “Members” tab. The user shouldn’t show up in the list of usernames. You have successfully removed a user from your Cloudflare account.

Cloudflare is a great tool to add a layer of privacy to your networks. It is also easy to get more users onto your servers. You can access Cloudflare’s dashboard from anywhere through any browser by following the methods outlined above. Always remember that any changes to the account need to be made by the super administrator. All other account types are unable to add or remove users.
