How to see what's using data on iOS 9 (iPhones & iPad)

How to see what’s using data on iOS 9, iPhone and iPad:

Step one:

First, go into settings on your phone and tap on Mobile. Scroll down and you’ll hit Mobile Data Usage, which will show you how much data you have used overall.

Unless you’ve rest the counter at any time, this will be total consumption since you started using iOS 9.

Under that, you’ll see Use Mobile Data For, which has a list of all the apps that can connect to the internet installed on your phone.

Step two:

Next to them, you can see how much data they have used, and turn off mobile data for them one by one, if you wish.

If you want a more accurate idea of what’s using your data, scroll to the very bottom and tap “reset statistics”. This will reset all the counters to zero, so you can determine which apps use the most data on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
