Last night, Apple took the wraps off a 9.7in iPad Pro and a 4in iPhone SE, but it also tinkered with the Apple Watch. Although we didn’t see a second-generation version of the wearable, Apple did give it a massive price cut – reducing its RRP to £259. Interestingly, the new price puts it directly in line with Samsung’s Gear S2, but could also be preparing us for an Apple Watch 2 this September.

At the same time, Apple increased the breadth of accessories available for its first wearable. New nylon bands were introduced, costing £39 and available in seven colours, while customers can now buy a black Milanese Loop for the Apple Watch, starting at £129 for the 38mm version and £179 for the 42mm version.
