There are a lot of different ways to customize your Oppo A37 and changing the wallpaper might be the most common. Plenty of wallpapers are available online for you to download or you can use one of the stock images that come with your smartphone. On top of that, you can also use one of the photos you’ve taken and set it as wallpaper to your Lock or Home screen.
Changing the wallpaper on Oppo A37 is very simple. Let’s see how you can do it.
Use the Settings App to Change Your Wallpaper
A very easy method of changing the default wallpaper is via the Settings app. Here’s how to do it:
1. Open the Settings App
Tap on the Settings app to launch it and swipe to Wallpaper and Lockscreen Magazines.
2. Tap on Wallpaper and Lockscreen Magazines
Access the Wallpaper and Lockscreen Magazines menu by tapping on it.
3. Choose Select Wallpaper
Once inside Wallpaper and Lockscreen Magazines, tap on Select Wallpaper to get more options.
4. Choose One of the Options
The Select Wallpaper menu has two options:
Photos
If you want to use one of the images you’ve taken with your Oppo A37, select the Photos option. This will take you to your Photo Library, where you can select an image and set it to your Lock or Home screen.
Static Wallpapers
The Static Wallpapers menu lets you select one of the default wallpapers that come with your Oppo A37 or to download one from the internet. If you wish to download more images, you need to do the following:
1. Tap to Open Static Wallpapers
When you enter the Static Wallpapers window, tap on Download More.
2. Choose a Wallpaper
Browse the Download More menu until you find the wallpaper you like. You can also browse the wallpapers by categories or topics. Tap on the wallpaper you like and download it.
3. Set the Wallpaper
After you’ve downloaded the desired wallpaper, tap on the image to select it and hit Apply.
4. Select the Desired Screen
After you hit Apply, you will be able to see the wallpaper in Preview mode and select to set it to your Home or Lock screen.
When you select the desired screen, tap Set As and your wallpaper will change. There is no option to set the wallpaper on both screens at once, so you will have to repeat the process if you wish to have the same wallpaper on your Lock and Home screens.
Choosing a Wallpaper from Your Photos
If you want to use one of the images from your Oppo A37, you can easily do it by following these steps:
Settings App > Wallpaper and Lockscreen Magazines > Select Wallpaper > Photos
Tap on one of the photos in your Photo Library to select it as a wallpaper and then do the following:
Tap Apply > Choose Screen > Select Set As
Now you can exit the menu and take a look at the photo you’ve just set as your wallpaper.
