Logitech MX Revolution review

£65
Price when reviewed

Overlook the high price for a moment, and you’ll see that the Logitech MX Revolution is packed with innovative features. The scrollwheel on the top is an excellent example – flick it once and it acts like a standard clickwheel. Scroll more aggressively, or push the wheel down, and a flywheel engages, allowing the wheel to spin freely. We achieved a record spin time of ten seconds – enough to get from the top to the bottom of a 200-page document in very little time at all. You also get a button on the top that launches the search engine of your choice, as well as two more on the side for moving through documents. In case that isn’t enough, there’s a jogwheel on the side for moving through open apps. All of the functions can be customised. The Revolution is very nearly worth the money – going back to our standard mouse felt like a punishment.
