Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System review

Grab yourself a copy of Microsoft’s Flight Simulator X, and one of these, and you’re about as close as you’ll get to a flight deck at home. The yoke complete with chronograph and stainless shaft provides fine elevator and aileron control, and the throttle quadrant adds in levers for control over prop pitch, flaps or mixture. A total of 14 buttons can be assigned to various tasks, such as moving your view around easily with a thumb-joystick. We’re not enamoured with the plastic feel, but clamped to a desk it’s solid enough for the roughest landing. It isn’t exactly cheap, but divide the cost by the number of hours this will keep the amateur pilot happy, and the Saitak Pro Flight Yoke starts to look much more reasonable.
