Apple doesn’t usually buy into Black Friday, so to find some money shaved off its enviable range of products is pretty unusual indeed.

This year, it has decided to throw its hat into the ring with its own one-day sale event, plus there are more, and arguably better, deals to be had from retailers like Amazon, Currys and AO.com.

Whether you’re looking to upgrade your phone, need a new iPad or are in the market for a MacBook, there are several deals out there to save you a pretty decent amount of cash.

Apple Black Friday deals: How to get a cheap iPhone

The current line-up of iPhone is five deep, and we’ve found SIM free deals for four of them. Perhaps predictably, the iPhone X is nowhere to be found in this list (although there are some contract deals worth taking a look at via Carphone Warehouse), but the iPhone 8, with its wireless charging, the iPhone 7, iPhone 6s and dinky iPhone SE are.

Just so you know how much of a deal you’re getting, normal prices start at £699 for the iPhone 8, £549 for the iPhone 7, £449 for the 6s and £349 for the iPhone SE.

 The original, and arguably the best, iPad family now contains three models, ticking boxes for small, middle and large screen sizes. Make like a tablet Goldilocks and find the one that’s just right with this impressive pick of deals.

Once again, the non-Black Friday prices for each of them start from £419 for the iPad mini 4, £339 for iPad, and £619/£769 for iPad Pro (10.5in/12.9in).

Already decided your New Year’s resolution is to get moving more? The Apple Watch could help with that – particularly the Watch 2 (which Apple has stopped selling, but you can still find online) or Watch 3, with their built-in GPS. There’s even a cellular option in the Watch 3 for going phone-free, and the Nike+ option for enhanced sports tracking capabilities.

If you’re looking for a real bargain though, and aren’t so worried about tracking running routes and the like, the Apple Watch 1 is still available, and at a better price than ever.
