January sales 2017: Our round-up of the best New Year deals

Boxing Day 2017 was one for the ages, with huge sales across the board. Although the eponymous day is behind us, the deals most certainly aren’t, with the onset of the January sales just commencing. 

Whether you’ve had your eye on a gadget for a while now, or there’s an offer you just can’t refuse, the January sales will no doubt excite savvy shoppers among us. Rightly so – it’s a great opportunity to start the New Year with some fantastic deals. 

Amazon is a great destination for the wily bargain hunter. With many stellar products including TVs, software and stationary receiving up to 50% off their original prices, it’s the retailer du jour for those looking to snap up some heavily discounted products. Although some Boxing Day deals have elapsed , there are multitudes more to discover in the mega January sales.

LG 49SJ800V 4K HDR Smart TV (was £900, now £579)

This excellent 4K HDR TV from LG is one of the best on the market, and now at a heavily discounted price thanks to the end of year sales.
