You can now get a four-month Sky Sports Pass on Now TV for £70 to watch a summer of golf from the US Open to the Ryder Cup

Now TV is still one of the best ways to get access to Sky TV without the lengthy, often expensive, contracts and Sky is currently running an offer that makes it even more affordable.

You can now get a four-month Sky Sports Pass on Now TV for £70 to watch a summer of golf from the US Open to the Ryder Cup

For a limited time, Sky is offering what it’s calling the Summer Golf Pass for £70. It’s effectively just a four-month Sky Sports Pass but has been rebranded ahead of a summer of golfing tournaments, including the US Open, The Open and The Ryder Cup.

For this £70, you get access to all of Sky’s 10 sports channels, including the dedicated Sky F1 channels, as well as rugby, football and, of course, golf. To put just how good this deal is into perspective, a month’s Sky Sports Now TV Pass costs £33.99 on its own. If you were to buy the pass for four months, you’d end up paying £135.96 meaning the bundle is almost half price. The offer is available from today (5 June) until 15 June and the US Open tees off on 14 June.

Alternatively, if you’re only interested in one or two of the tournaments, it might be better value to get a Sky Sports Week Pass, which costs £12.99.

Elsewhere, Sky is offering a handful of bundles on its Entertainment and Cinema passes. Under the deal, Sky is selling a half-price bundle which combines the two passes, for six months, for £51. Alternatively, a six-month Entertainment Pass on its own costs £27.27 (a saving of 40%), or you can get a three-month pass for £14.47, similarly saving 40% when buying a pass on a monthly basis. An Entertainment Pass typically costs £7.99 a month and a Sky Cinema Pass is £9.99 a month.

Of course, if you don’t already own a Sky Now TV box, Smart Box or Smart Stick, you’ll need to fork out the initial investment for the hardware – £14.99, £32.99 and £14.99 respectively – but that still represents a saving on paying for the passes and box individually.

Sky is also, separately, offering a number of bundle Now TV box deals (shown in the picture below – click on the picture to go to the deals page). In summary, the Now TV Stick plus a two-month Entertainment Pass is available for £19.99 (a saving of £10.99), the Now TV Stick plus a month’s Sky Cinema Pass is also £19.99, saving £5. For £29.99 you can get the Now TV Stick plus a month’s Sky Sports pass, offering a saving of £19.

There are some catches, as you’d expect. The Now TV passes and bundles are only available to new Now TV customers. As soon as you activate your Big Now TV bundle passes, your three months’ worth of Sky Entertainment, Sky Cinema and Kids TV will start within 48 hours. After the first month, the Sky Sports pass will automatically renew for £33.99 unless you cancel. The same applies at the end of the three-month period of the other passes, and at the end of either the two months or 12 months for the Entertainment and Cinema pass deals.

That said, you can cancel any time via the My Account page and will continue to get access to the content until the end of the pass. We’ve got an explainer on how to cancel Sky Now TV passes here.

Other terms and conditions include the fact this Now TV Bundle is not available in conjunction with any other Now TV offer or promotion, including the Now TV Stick deals mentioned above, and new and existing Now Broadband customers are excluded. You can also only buy one bundle per person, so choose wisely.
