The 100HA is a great piece of design. It’s smaller than most DVD players, it’s quiet and, unlike some media centres, it’s unassuming in its looks: place it on a bookshelf and most people will walk past without a second glance. There are some compromises – the T2050 is one of Intel’s slower Core Duo CPUs, and the 512MB of RAM also holds it back for more intensive jobs. But, as a tiny and well-engineered PC, the 100HA is good value, and if space is at a premium, or you’re looking to add a secondary PC to your home, this little wonder could be a very practical purchase.
