Mesh has also seen fit to include some software to further exploit the media capabilities of the Elite Q9300 Pro. Cyberlink’s HiDef Suite, for instance, is a group of seven tools for video editing, and there’s a copy of Assassin’s Creed thrown in as well. Works 8.5 to get you off the productivity starting blocks too.
Such extras are nice finishing touches, especially as the machine already offers a lot of features for the cash. The quad-core processor and capable graphics card provide the basis for swift performace and a more-than competent gaming, media and office system. But while the performance may be among the best in class, we’re too disappointed in the Elite Q9300’s selection of peripherals to wholeheartedly advocate it as a versatile, family-friendly machine. The Mesh Elite Pulse HD won’t be losing its A List spot just yet.
