Apple updates 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina and MacBook Air

During Apple’s Spring Forward event, Apple announced that it would be updating the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display and the MacBook Air.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro will be updated with the all-new Force Touch trackpad from the newly announced ultra-thin MacBook notebook.

It also comes with fifth-generation Intel Core processors capable of 3.1GHz, with Turbo Boost speeds of up to 3.4GHz, and Intel Iris Graphics 6100. It has flash storage that’s twice as fast, with speeds of up to 1.6GB per second, and a larger and more efficient battery to providing up to 10 hours of life.

The updated 13in MacBook Pro with Retina starts at £999 and the top-spec model starts at £1,399.

The 11in and 13in MacBook Air have also been updated to fifth-generation Intel Core processors capable of 2.2GHz, with Turbo Boost speeds of up to 3.4GHz, Intel HD Graphics 6000 and Thunderbolt 2 connectors. The 13in MacBook Air also comes with twice as fast flash storage.

The Updated 11in MacBook Air starts at £749, while the 13in MacBook Air starts at £849.
