If you replied yes to the second, I’m guessing the first was also a yes, so why not take the opportunity to let Groupon make your dreams come true this Valentine’s Day?

running a competition where one of the advertising billboards at Piccadilly Circus will be dedicated to finding you love for an entire half an hour on Valentine’s Day evening, ensuring the whole of London knows you don’t have plans. Interested passers-by can then tweet with the hashtag #GrouponLove for a chance to win a date with you, paid for by Groupon. Given that it includes dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant, you might be better off hoping that nobody replies to your ad and asking for a doggy bag.

Putting your face out there for the whole of London to tweet about is bound to end well. After all, Twitter is a universally kind and friendly place, right? Right?
