How to watch Westworld Season 2 online in the UK

When can you watch Westworld Season 2?:

Westworld airs in the UK at 9pm on Monday, with the first episode broadcasting on Monday 23 April. Naturally, episode 2 will air on the 29 April and continue to appear each Monday for a total of 10 weeks.

In the US, Westworld will be shown each Sunday evening – around 2am UK time on Monday morning.

How to watch Westworld Season 2: Now TV

As with Game of Thrones, a Now TV subscription is the easiest way to watch Westworld in the UK. Not only can you watch the entire first season of Westworld on Now TV if you need to catch up, but each episode will be available on-demand an hour after it airs on Sky Atlantic – so 10pm – every Monday.

You’ll also be able to watch episodes you’ve missed as past episodes stay active on the service for a full 30 days before disappearing. If you have a TV License, you can also watch along live via Now TV’s Entertainment Pass and enjoy Westworld as it airs on Sky Atlantic – meaning you’ll be able to keep up with all the chatter on Twitter.

As the Now TV website points out, you can watch every episode of Westworld Season 2 for just £14.47 via a three-month Now TV Entertainment Pass. If it’s the first time you’ve signed up, you get a two-week free trial, meaning you actually only need to renew your Now TV subscription twice to cover the whole 10-episode stint. Seeing as it’s £7 a month, you would only be saving 47p doing that, but that’s your decision.

How to watch Westworld Season 2: Sky Q/Sky Go

Sky holds the UK broadcasting rights to Westworld so, just like with Game of Thrones, it’s the only place you’ll be able to find it in the UK if you want to watch along live on TV.

Episodes air at 9pm on Sky Atlantic and appear on catch-up straight after. If Sky decides it’s going to follow suit with Game of Thrones and simultaneously broadcast Westworld alongside HBO in the US, you’ll actually be able to watch it on Sky’s catch up service from 3am on Monday morning.

While Sky does have the entire first season of Westworld available to watch as part of its boxsets, Sky only keep new episodes on catch-up for one month. This means that, once we hit Westworld episode 5, you’ll have to have already seen episode 1 before it drops off the Earth entirely. Thankfully, Sky +, Sky HD and Sky Q let you record shows, so make sure you do that if you’re not going to be able to watch them in time!

How to watch Westworld Season 2: HBO Now/HBO GO

As Westworld is an HBO show, you’ll be able to watch it via HBO too. It also has every episode of Westworld Season 1 available to watch on-demand and, once it begins to air, it’ll have every episode of Westworld Season 2 available to catch up on.

Unfortunately, HBO’s streaming and catch-up services aren’t really available in the UK. You could circumvent this with a VPN – in a similar vein to watching American Netflix in the UK – but as HBO has gone to considerable effort to lock people out of its services if they’re outside the US, it may not work.

If you do decide you want to try your luck, you can spring for an HBO Now membership and attempt to log in. It’s certainly worth it if you travel to the US regularly as you can’t watch Sky or Now TV abroad easily either, and you certainly won’t want to miss out on any Westworld episodes.

How to catch up on Westworld Season 1:

If you’ve managed to miss all of Westworld Season 1, or you simply just want to refresh your memory ahead of Season 2 arriving, there’s a multitude of ways to do so.

The easiest option is to take out a Now TV free trial and watch through the entire first season within the two-week window they offer. Alternatively, if you’re a Sky subscriber, you can watch it all on Sky’s On Demand section of programming. Obviously, there are less legal ways that we won’t delve into and you can even just go out and buy the first season on Blu-ray, DVD or even on Amazon’s Prime Video and keep them forever.
