Microsoft has said it will release Office for Mac 2011 at the end of October this year.

Microsoft will offer two packages, the Home and Student edition priced at £89.99 or the Family Pack with three licences for £109.99.
The Home and Student versions include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Messenger.
Anyone wanting to use Outlook will have stump up for the Home and Business package, which will cost £189.99 for a single install or £239.99 for a two-install Multi-Pack.
In a bid to avoid a drop in sales before the autumn release, Microsoft has announced that anyone buying Office 2008 will get a free upgrade.
