Everything Everywhere to launch new UK brand

Everything Everywhere has confirmed it will keep the T-Mobile and Orange brands, but launch a new brand alongside them later this year.

Everything Everywhere to launch new UK brand

T-Mobile and Orange teamed up in 2010 to create joint venture Everything Everywhere, leading to speculation and leaked reports that either or both of the brands would be killed off.

Yesterday, following the announcement that Ofcom would allow Everything Everywhere to use its extra spectrum to offer 4G services months ahead of rivals, the company said its branding plans were confidential, but it would “continue to support” T-Mobile and Orange.

Today, Everything Everywhere revealed what it is planning. “Everything Everywhere confirms that we are planning to launch a new brand in the UK later this year,” a spokesperson said. “This new brand will sit alongside our existing brands Orange and T-Mobile. We will reveal more information on our exciting plans in due course.”

The timing of the launch, and that the new brand will exist alongside T-Mobile and Orange, suggests it may be a 4G-focused brand.
