The Huawei Ascend P7 is a slim 5-inch, 4G Android smartphone that looks great. It’s set to cost €449 (£369) and will be available in the UK from the end of June.
The Ascend comes with new features including a “groufie mode” that uses panoramic software to allow the ultimate group selfie. A super power-saving mode adapts to the most suitable use of power when the battery level is at 10 percent or less, and alternate UIs are offered for “newbies” and experienced smartphone users.
Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group, said: “Huawei’s relentless commitment to developing premium-quality smartphones over the past three years has paid off. We are now ranked number three globally in terms of smartphone shipments, and our brand recognition is growing steadily in key regions such as China and Western Europe,”
“Today, the launch of the Huawei Ascend P7 once again challenges existing industry standards by redefining smartphone design, camera experience, and connectivity, to provide people with an unprecedented mobile experience.”
