The Huawei Ascend P7 is a slim 5-inch, 4G Android smartphone that looks great. It’s set to cost €449 (£369) and will be available in the UK from the end of June.

The Ascend comes with new features including a “groufie mode” that uses panoramic software to allow the ultimate group selfie. A super power-saving mode adapts to the most suitable use of power when the battery level is at 10 percent or less, and alternate UIs are offered for “newbies” and experienced smartphone users.
