iTunes-ready RAZR comes to the UK

The first of Motorola’s RAZR phones to support Apple’s iTunes is now shipping in the UK. It is only the second phone with iTunes support to ship in the UK, after the ROKR.

The RAZR V3i m lets you scroll through playlists to select songs or shuffle tracks directly from the main iTunes menu. Putting your music on the phone involves nothing more than connecting it to a Mac or PC, then choosing the songs you want to sync or letting iTunes choose them for you by autofilling the phone with a random selection from your music library.

iTunes aside, the clamshell phone includes a quad-band GSM radio, Bluetooth – though iTunes syncing requires a wired connection – and a 1.23 megapixel digital camera.

The phone can also be used to store and transfer data by enabling disk mode when it is connected to iTunes, though allocating space for data will reduce the capacity for music tracks. Playback of iTunes video is not supported.
