Another Mozilla developer jumps ship to Google

A second member of the Mozilla development team has announced he is taking a job at Google. Darin Fisher, who manages the cookie and permissions sections of the browser development, has written in his blog that he is to join the search engine.

He follows fellow open source browser developer Ben Goodger who announced his departure for Googleearlier this week.

In his brief statement Fisher says ‘Like Ben, I will still be very much involved with the Mozilla project and community :-)’.

Google has refused to comment on whether it is working on its own browser.

The domain name www.gbrowser.com has been registered by Google Inc.
