CeBIT 2007: E-Ten’s Pocket PCs go 3G

E-Ten’s slimline Pocket PC offerings are going 3G. The company’s new Windows Mobile 6 phone will be showcased at CeBIT 2007, ready for launch later in the year under the Glofiish brand.

Aimed at both buinsess and consumer users, the handset is the first from E-Ten to feature 3G connectivity, specifically the WCDMA and HSDPA data standards.

Windows Mobile 6, which was unveiled at the 2007 GSM World Congress in Barcelona in February, has improved usability for editing documents and emails on the go. As well as a new Office Mobile suite, there are new one-click options for esasier managment of email.

E-Ten will also be showing off its two most recent handset releases: the Glofiish X500 and the Glofiish M700 (pictured), which has a sliding keyboard. Their spec includes a 400MHz Samsung CPU and 128MB of Flash ROM, and GSM, Wi-Fi connectivity.
