Davey Winder nominated as Security Journalist of the Year

Davey has been nominated as Security Journalist of the Year on each of the four occasions the BT-organised awards have been presented – the only journalist to made the shortlist every time. He won the prestigious prize in 2006 and 2008.

This year he’ll be competing against Emily Ford from The Times and the New Scientist’s Paul Marks for the top prize.

Davey is also nominated in two other categories at this year’s awards. His What’s hiding in the Ts and Cs? article is nominated in the Best Privacy Feature of the Year category.

Meanwhile, Davey’s hand-picked Top ten security heroes feature earns him a nomination for Best Generic Security Feature of the Year.

The winners will be announced on 14 October at a ceremony in London.
