Apple has announced the dates of its annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2015.

The event will take place between 8 and 12 June at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Developers can apply for tickets from the day and they will be allocated at random on 21 April at 1am BST.
For those who don’t make the cut, you will be able to view the goings on online the following day or, in a handful of cases, via livestream.
Traditionally, Apple uses the first day of WWDC to debut its latest iOS and OS X mobile and desktop operating systems, as well as updates to its existing ones.
It’s also possible we will see more software and software-development tools for the Apple Watch, which goes on general sale four days after the end of the conference.
As well as various keynotes, workshops and demos, Apple will also be dishing out its annual Design Awards, “which recognise iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch Mac apps that demonstrate technical excellence, innovation and outstanding design”.
Registered Apple developers can apply for tickets here, but it will set you back a cool $1,599 (£1,082 at the time of writing). Developers between the ages of 13 and 17 are also welcome to attend, but their submission needs to be completed by a parent or guardian who is also an eligible member of the community.
