History Collector Pro bucks the click-trail deletion trend by instead saving all your web movements to disk. The keyword being ‘saving’: this IE-only plug-in differs from the default History view in that it doesn’t just compile a list of links, it saves entire pages and their content to your hard disk as standard MHT and HTM files. This Pro version will save it all for up to a year (IE has a 99-day limit), including Flash, QuickTime, RealPlayer and Media Player content. An import/export feature will archive your history files, and the search facility is quick and accurate. The downside is the total lack of security/encryption, so anyone with access to your PC can see where you’ve been online.
