FlashPhoenix review

The popularity of removable flash media has exploded, and so will you if you accidentally delete images or the card is corrupted (battery failure during a write operation often causes this). If you haven’t copied the contents to your hard disk recently, there’s no ‘digital negative’ to fall back on. FlashPhoenix will read most types of memory card and recover just about every image format as well. And it will do so even if the card itself is corrupted. Many applications of this type only recover JPEG and TIFF files and expect your money upfront. FlashPhoenix recovers RAW image files, proprietary camera formats, AVI, MOV, MPEGs; in fact, pretty much anything you may have on the card. And it only asks for your money once you’ve tried it and can see the photos (limited to the first ten in the trial version) it can salvage. Now that’s worth every penny.
