MailNavigator 1.11 review

On the surface, MailNavigator doesn’t have much going for it: a drab interface with no obvious bells or whistles. But then this isn’t just an email client; it’s a search-and-retrieval mail viewer. It enables you to extract messages from the mailboxes of just about any email client (including Outlook, OE, Eudora, The Bat! and Pegasus) using a comprehensive search interface. Not only will it find individual messages based upon keyword input, but can be used to open inaccessible message archives from a crashed application. The only downside is that it can only access PST files indirectly. Still, as a free (for personal use only) emergency mail-rescue utility, it’s hard to better.
