We’re not a great fan of ‘My Little Password’ type naming, as it tends to imply a toy rather than a grown-up application, and My Password Manager does at times veer in this direction: 120 icons to associate with passwords in the database we can live without. This new version has password-protected HTML export, enabling password databases to be exported to a HTML page for web use; an odd function, since storing login data offline is inherently more secure. Equally, the built-in data-recovery system, which stores up to 20 backups of each entry strikes us, adding another layer of insecurity. The automation and highly intuitive interface make it perfect for novice computer users, but PC Pro readers can find better.
