Akasa Combo USB Hub and Card Reader review

£14
Price when reviewed

Digital camera owners will be familiar with the frustration of digging out a USB cable when the time comes to transfer the latest batch of photos, as well as wasting valuable battery life getting them onto your PC. The Akasa Combo will read and write to virtually every card format: CompactFlash, Microdrive, SmartMedia, xD, SD, MMC, Memory Stick and T-Flash are all compatible, so it will suit every digital photographer, from those with new compact digital cameras to DSLR veterans. There are also three useful USB ports and, unlike many hubs, there’s a power adapter included in case you need powered ports. At less than £20, this is a great way to add features to your PC or notebook without having to open it.
