Creative Live! Cam Optia AF review
There are two distinct kinds of webcam: basic, functional devices and those such as the Optia AF, which throw in a plethora of extras for those spending lots of time recording themselves in front of a PC. The Optia AF is very adjustable – the stand has a ball-and-socket joint, making it easy to move the camera for the best angle – and the sensor is a 2-megapixel unit that provides excellent image quality. But £60 is a lot to pay for a webcam, and you’ll need to be sure you fancy becoming the next Lonelygirl15 before you splash out on the extra video-creation software. For those who want to become a head-and-shoulders celebrity, though, there’s no doubting the Optia’s superb image quality.
