It most certainly wasn’t the quickest of scanners during our tests, something that this time it does share with its Zone Labs cousin. At least system resources didn’t take a hammering during the scans and we were able to continue with our combination of email and word processing without any great slowdown.

Cookie control and pop-up blocking are no longer seen as value-add items; after all, they come for free with your web browser these days.

Other than that, there really isn’t a great deal to say about EZ Armor, and that’s the biggest problem – it doesn’t do much and it does it with a distinct lack of va-va voom. But it’s cheap and if you don’t require the missing components it’s an acceptable budget buy.
