Kodak Ultima Photo Paper review

Price when reviewed

Kodak’s Ultima paper is 40gsm heavier than Premium for a more photo-like feel, but it produced some surprisingly poor results. In Epsons, skin tones were too dark and red, while the R800’s inks weren’t absorbed properly, leaving a speckled finish. In the HPs and the Lexmark, skin tones were far too yellow.

Fade resistance wasn’t terrible, although the Canon iP8500, Lexmark Z735 and Epson R240’s prints lost a noticeable amount of saturation after three months. Overall, only the PC Line Glossy paper proved a worse choice.
