If you are unable to receive incoming calls on your Galaxy J7 Pro, it kind of defies the purpose of owning a phone in the first place. But you shouldn’t panic because it is usually a simple issue that can be resolved in a matter of minutes.

However, there may be more than a few reasons you are not able to receive calls. It might thus take some time to pinpoint the problem. You could have tapped on the wrong settings or you might be experiencing network issues.
Here are some other possible reasons why you cannot receive incoming calls.
Airplane Mode
If you have accidentally left the Airplane Mode on, you won’t be able to receive any calls. You should take the following steps to make sure that the Airplane Mode is off.
Go to Settings
Scroll Down to Airplane Mode
Make Sure That the Switch Is Toggled Off
Do Not Disturb
Another very common reason why you might not be able to receive any calls is because you have the Do Not Disturb setting turned on. You can turn it off or reconfigure it from the Settings menu.
Go to Settings
Open Sounds and Vibration
Go to Do Not Disturb
You should toggle the switch next to the Do Not Disturb option off.
Blocked Numbers
You might have accidentally blocked some or all of the callers on your phone. If that’s the case, you need to take the following steps to unblock them.
Go to Phone
Tap on the Menu and Select Call Settings
Choose Call Rejection and Open Auto Reject List
The list in the Call Rejection menu contains all the numbers you have blocked. Uncheck the ones you wish to receive calls from. Also, you can completely delete the list by tapping on the trash can in the upper right-hand corner of the menu.
Diverted Calls
Another reason you are not receiving incoming calls may be due to Call Forwarding. Namely, the incoming calls may be forwarded to another number if the Divert setting is on. To disable call forwarding, you should do the following:
Go to Phone
Tap on the Menu and Select Call Settings
Select Call Forwarding (at the Bottom of the Menu)
Tap to Open Voice Call
Disable all Forwarding Options One by One
Disable Forwarding Number
Issues with Your SIM Card
Sometimes your SIM card might get dislocated inside the tray so you should get the card out to and inspect it.
Open the Tray and Remove the SIM
Inspect for Damages
Test the SIM in a Backup Phone
Put it Back and Restart the Device
No Service
Network issues may happen if your carrier is experiencing some problems or if there’s no coverage at your current location. It is best to take a look at your carrier’s coverage map, especially if you are traveling often.
Also, you should ask your friends with the same carrier if they have the same issues. If they don’t, you might need to reset the Network Settings on your phone.
To Wrap Up
We hope some of our suggestions helped you get your smartphone back in order. Usually, the reason you are not receiving any calls is quite simple. However, if none of these methods helped solve the problem, you may need to talk to your carrier or take your phone to a repair shop.
