Sennheiser CX 380 Sport II review

It isn’t often that we see a pair of inner-ear headphones that aren’t suitable for using on a treadmill, but the Sennheiser CX 380s are even more apt than most. Not only do they sit extremely snugly in the ear, courtesy of three different-sized rubber earplugs to help you get the right fit, but they’re also washable, allowing you to clean off weeks’ worth of sweat and grime at a stroke. They sound good too, providing surprisingly good bass for a pair of small earphones; they’re also very clear at the top end. And, the 120cm-long cable means you can keep your MP3 player safely in your pocket while you listen. The final plus is the tempting price: at a surprisingly cheap £40 inc VAT, they make the perfect choice for upgrading those awful bundled iPod headphones.
