There are some interesting marketing tools too. For instance, create banner ads using the supplied tool and then display them on other sites – you can choose geographical location and then display the ad on local sites in your area, or themes, such as car-related sites. You get 10,000 page impressions free to test their effectiveness, but then have to pay a fee – for example, £5 a month for 1,000 impressions. You can also produce sitemaps to help certain search engines such as Google index your site.
If you don’t need all these features, the £25 per month charge isn’t such great value: for £300 per year, you can get a better deal (on paper at least) from other web hosts. However, if you will use some of these extra tools, £25 per month price is excellent value for money. Clearly, none of them match the best tools on the market, but they offer the major benefit of being easy to implement.
