From Intel to Google and IBM to Twitter, there are some faces that we immediately recognise as being inextricably linked to brands. Some we just recognise because they’ve been around so long; others because they have truly made their mark on history through their stunning achievements.

As a homage to the greatness of these tech legends, we’ve dug up some mugshots of the most famous faces in tech from recent years, and years gone by, and given them a brutal retouching-gone-wrong treatment in Photoshop. After all, what better way could there be for us to say thank you for all their great efforts than smudging their faces into squishy obscurity?
