Internet Explorer was once the king of browsers, used by 95% of everyone on the web. Then along came Chrome and a series of IE updates that left the one-time default feeling fat and clumsy.

NetMarketShare now puts Explorer’s market share at 12.7%, and Edge – its intended successor – below Firefox at 4.61%.
Microsoft is still committed, and working on new code, but is it time it gave up and admitted that the web belongs to Google?
