Kingston USB 2.0 Hi-Speed 19-in-1 Media Reader review

Kingston’s card reader can handle 19 types of flash memory – CompactFlash, SD/MMC and Memory Stick formats are supported, along with, unusually, microSD. A 3ft USB extension cable is included, and the card-docking area is retractable, although the sliding switch to change its position can occasionally prove rigid and difficult to move. Appearing on your PC as five removable drives – one for each slot – it’s quick to recognise and load cards. Data transferring onto an SD card comfortably surpassed 6MB/sec and, although not as speedy as some rivals, it’s hard to argue with the performance and flexibility at this price.
