Microsoft Lumia RM 1090 specs leak online

Details of Microsoft’s upcoming Lumia RM 1090 smartphone, including images, have leaked on a Chinese website.

According to a post on the website of the Chinese industry regulatorTenaa, the Lumia RM 1090, which will be the first Microsoft branded Lumia phone, will have a 5in 720p HD screen, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a sub-1-megapixel front-facing camera.

Inside, the device will allegedly have a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, with microSD support up to 64GB, and a 1900mAh battery.

The dual-SIM enabled, 145.7g handset will support 900, 1800, 850, and 1900MHz signal frequencies, measure 140.2 x 72.5 x 9.32mm, and be available in black, white, grey, blue, orange and green.

Three pictures of the Microsoft Lumia RM 1090 appear alongside the listing, showing the rear camera is located in the centre of the top of the phone, as with previous Lumia models, and has what appears to be a flash situated just to the left of it. The front-facing camera is in the top right-hand corner, and the headphone jack is on the top edge, on the right.

Unlike many previous models, the speaker will be a lozenge-shaped opening in the centre of the bottom quarter of the phone, rather than a circular opening in the bottom right-hand corner.

While PC Pro isn’t able to verify the listing’s specs (or, indeed, the device’s name), the fact the information comes from an official regulator does make it somewhat more reliable than many of the other leaks that appear online.
