Chromecast Audio deal: Super Spotify streamer is back at half price

Google answered the prayers of many audiophiles last December when it did for music fans what it had done for video enthusiasts with the Chromecast. Plenty of people still have got wonderful old audio setups that are stuck in the days of CDs, tapes and MiniDiscs, while everything is now streamed. Chromecast Audio brings these devices in from the cold, letting you stream music to “dumb” speakers.

We loved it when we reviewed it, giving it the full five stars. That was when it cost £30. Now a handful of retailers are selling it cheap and, at half price, it’s definitely worth picking up. Here they are in alphabetical order, so pick your retailer and grab one:

PC World – £15

Both let you click and collect, meaning you could be streaming Spotify to your sound system tonight.
