How to Get the Cursed Dual Katana in Blox Fruits

Defeating enemies and completing quests in Blox Fruits requires good equipment. As some bosses are only vulnerable to certain weapons, players need to expand their combat collection.

One of the most powerful swords in Blox Fruits is the Cursed Dual Katana. However, getting it isn’t easy. In this article, we’ll show you how to get the Cursed Dual Katana sword.

How to Get the Cursed Dual Katana

There are three main steps to acquiring Cursed Dual Katana.

• Obtain Yama and Tushita swords and get them to 350+ mastery.
• Reach level 2,200.
• Complete the Cursed Dual Katana Puzzle.

How to Get Yama

Yama is a legendary sword that came with Update 15. But just like its successor, it can be difficult to obtain. Here are the requirements and steps to get the sword:

1. Have at least 20 Elite Hunter and/or Player Hunter quests completed in total. More quests mean a better chance at getting the sword, and 30 quests guarantee it.
   
2. Go to Hydra Island where Yama is located. Go behind the waterfall in the Secret Temple.
   
3. To get inside the Temple, use a move such as Instinct Break to break the gate.
   
4. Once you find the sword, click on it four times to pull it.
   

If you don’t meet the set requirements, the sword will kill your character and display a message “The sword has rejected you! You’re not worthy.” Otherwise, your screen will show a notification saying “The sword has accepted you as its new owner.” You’ll get the title “Demon Mode.”

How to Get Tushita

Tushita is another Legendary Sword that was added with Update 15. Obtaining Tushita is the second necessary step before you’re able to move on to the Cursed Dual Katana puzzle. Here’s how to go about it:

1. Summon Rip Indra by putting God’s Chalice on the Pedestal. The best way to obtain the Chalice is by defeating Elite Pirates. Go to Hydra Island where Tushita is located.
   
2. Defeat all the ghosts in the Secret Temple and go under the waterfall.
   
3. Enter the large white door and light five more torches with the holy torch in five minutes.
   
4. Once you’ve done that, another room will open and you’ll have to defeat a level 2,000 Boss called Longma who will drop Tushita for you.
   

Tip:Memorize the locations of the torches before doing the puzzle so that you manage to light them all under five minutes.

How to Complete the Cursed Dual Katana Puzzle

The last step in completing the Katana is doing the Cursed Dual Katana Puzzle. Make sure that you’re level 2,200 and have mastery 350 on both swords. You can increase the swords’ mastery simply by using them.

Here’s the steps involved in solving the Cursed Dual Katana Puzzle:

1. Find the Crypt Master at the back of the Mansion at Floating Turtle and enter through the back after talking to him. Inside you’ll find two scrolls, each with three trials. Use Yama and Tushita to complete the trials from the corresponding scroll.
   
2. After finishing the trials from both scrolls, you should have six Alucard Fragments that you need to put on a pedestal at the front of the Mansion. This summons the Cursed Skeleton Boss.
   
3. Using either of the swords to defeat the Boss will grant you the Cursed Dual Katana.
   

Since completing the trials on the scrolls can be tricky, here’s additional information on how to proceed.

How to Complete Yama Scroll Trials

1. Pain and Suffering — to complete this step you will have to let an NPC or another player attack you until your character almost dies.
   
2. Haze of Misery — when your vision gets foggy, you will have kill all the NPCs with purple marks until the fog lifts.
   
3. Fear the Reaper — first, summon the Soul Reaper on Haunted Castle Island by using a Hallow Essence. Let the Reaper kill your character and transfer you to Hell. In order to get back to the room with scrolls, you’ll have to defeat all enemies and light three torches.
   

How to Complete Tushita Scroll Trials

1. Docks Legend — Chat with three Boat Dealers on three different islands.
   
2. Sense of Duty — Go to the Castle on the Sea and complete a Pirate Raid.
   
3. Soulless — Defeat level 2,175 boss called Cake Queen in Ice Cream Land on the Sea of Treats before a two-minute song ends. This will teleport you to Heaven where you’ll do the same as in Fear the Reaper step from the Tushita scroll.
   

The trials are completed once both scrolls burn up with a notification: “The scroll has reacted to your achievements.”
