How to Get Saber V2 in Blox Fruits

Blox Fruits offers an amazing arsenal of weapons for players to battle with, and the Saber Version 2 (V2) is a great blade to add to your inventory. It’s a massive upgrade on the Saber V1, dealing significantly more damage and working well with other weapons for combos.

How to Get Saber V2 in Blox Fruits

This guide will show you exactly how to get your hands on the Saber V2.

How to Obtain the Saber V2

There are two steps you’ll need to follow to acquire the Saber V2. The first involves a lot of grinding for Bounty or Honor, which will take a while for most players. The second step is faster but potentially more difficult, as you’ll need to defeat another player around the same level as you.

Step 1: Earning a Million Bounty or Honor

This first step is the more time-consuming of the two but is generally easier. It should even come naturally to you over time as you simply play the game, beat enemies, and build up your Bounty or Honor score.

You’ll need a total of a million Bounty or Honor to upgrade your Saber from V1 to V2. You can boost your Bounty or Honor rating in various ways, like fighting non-playable characters (NPCs), defeating bosses on the game’s many islands, and defeating other players on your server.

Beating basic NPCs is a quick and easy way to get started, but that will only work up to 250,000 Bounty/Honor. After that, you’ll need to target either bosses or enemy players to get a higher score. It’ll take time and effort, but once you reach a million, you’ll be ready for the next step.

Step 2: Defeating a Similar-Level Player

Once you have a million Bounty or Honor, you’ll need to defeat another real player in Blox Fruits PvP mode. That player also needs to have at least a million Bounty/Honor and should be around the same level as you.

This can be either very tricky or very easy, depending on how you approach it. One way is to challenge other random players you meet and hope that you’re able to beat them with your own skill and equipment. For skillful players, this won’t be an issue, but for others, it could be a struggle.

Alternatively, the easiest way is with the help of a friend. As long as you have a friend who is around your level and has enough Bounty or Honor, you can hop into the same server together. Your friend can then simply let you kill them to meet the requirement and upgrade your Saber.

How to Know When the Saber Has Upgraded

Once you complete both steps, a message will appear on your screen along the lines of: “Something weird has occurred to your Saber.” This is the sign that your Saber has upgraded from V1 to V2. If you don’t see the message, you may have done something wrong and will need to try again.

Interestingly, the actual appearance of the Saber won’t change at all, which is why some players are a little confused about whether or not they got the upgrade. However, you’ll notice the difference when you start attacking with the Saber V2, as the strikes have different animations and deal much more damage.

For example, the “Deadly Rush” attack with Saber V2 (executed by pressing the “Z” key) effectively combines both the “Z” and “X” attacks of the Saber V1. The V2’s “X” attack (“Triple Slash”) will summon a large dragon-shaped blast of energy.

Getting the Saber V1

It’s important to note that you’ll need to have the Saber V1 if you want to get the V2. If you complete the steps above without having the first version, you’ll simply get a message saying, “Something weird has happened, but you lack the required item.”

So, it’s vital to get the original Saber first of all. To do that, you’ll need to defeat the Saber Expert, a level 200 boss who appears at the end of the Saber Expert Puzzle. This puzzle can be broken down into the following key steps.

The Jungle Buttons

First, you’ll need to make your way to Jungle Island in the First Sea. From there, follow these steps:

  1. Activate five hidden buttons located in various spots around the island. To activate a button, walk over it; it’ll turn green to show it has been pressed.
  2. Once you’ve done all five, return to the NPC hut in the middle of the island and go down the stairs.
  3. You’ll see a hole in the floor. Drop into it and read a poem, which will guide you to the next location: the desert.

The Desert and Frozen Village

The next step in your adventure is to head to the location the previous puzzle showed you – the Desert Island. Once there, follow these steps:

  1. Look for a house with a red door.
  2. Go inside and use your torch next to the curtain to burn it away, revealing another poem and a cup.
  3. Go to the Frozen Village.
  4. Fill the cup using drops of water falling inside an icy cave.
  5. Take the cup to a sick man in the village, and he’ll send you off to Pirate Village.

Pirate Village

In the Pirate Village, you can speak with the sick man’s son and receive the task of defeating a Mob Leader. After that, the son will give you the Relic, which you can use back on the Jungle Island to locate the Saber Expert and defeat him.

As mentioned, the Saber Expert is level 200, so he can be quite tricky to defeat. He’s powerful in close quarters, so it’s best to keep your distance and use long-range attacks as much as possible. Once you beat him, you’ll get the Saber V1 and can then proceed to start your quest to upgrade it to V2.

FAQs

Is the Saber V2 worth it?

Yes, the Saber V2 is a fantastic weapon. It does much more damage and combos well with other weapons, letting you deal lots of damage to every enemy you encounter. It also has a pretty impressive range and relatively low master requirements. It’s a good PvP option for the Second Sea but may need to be replaced as you move on to the Third Sea.

Are there any downsides to the Saber V2?

The Saber V2 isn’t perfect. It doesn’t break Instinct, so it’s not much use in PvP battles where the enemy is using Instinct. It can also be tricky to land critical hits with this weapon, and there are better weapon options later in the game as you meet tougher bosses.

Add the Saber V2 to Your Arsenal

The Saber V2 isn’t the best blade in Blox Fruits, but it’s still a powerful and solid addition to any player’s arsenal. Plus, it’s relatively easy to obtain compared to other high-end weapons. So, if you’re looking for an offensive upgrade, start building up your Bounty or Honor score and work your way to the Saber V2.
