Rise of Kingdoms: How to Get Teleports

Every player begins their digital career as the ruler of a City in Rise of Kingdoms, and they’ll start in a beginner Kingdom. You can switch Kingdoms to be closer to their Alliance members, and many players choose to move for this very reason.

However, what if you want to change locations within the same Kingdom?

Players who are in a Kingdom can still relocate their City Halls with the help of Teleports. Relocating a City Hall or moving is different from migrating with Beginner Teleport, though. Instead of switching kingdoms, you stay within your current Kingdom’s borders.

Read on to discover more about teleports in Rise of Kingdoms, including where to get them, the different types, and how to use them.

How to Teleport in Rise of Kingdoms

Teleportation is how you move your City Hall to a different spot within the borders of your Kingdom. You may do so to get closer to friends or want a new location to play in. Before you teleport, though, you’ll first need to know how to acquire some Teleports.

Where to Get Teleports?

Teleports are most often purchased from the game’s shops, though they’re not the only source. You may get Teleports from playing in Events as well. Unfortunately, you can’t buy as many teleports as you’d like in shops as supplies are limited.

The known sources of Teleports are:

  • Shop
  • VIP Shop
  • Mysterious Merchant
  • Era Breakthrough Event

The VIP Shop is the best place to buy your Teleports. The higher your VIP Level, the cheaper the wares. When you reach VIP 6, Targeted Teleports drop to 50% of their original price. You may think that this makes the regular Shop obsolete, but that’s not the case.

After depleting the VIP Shop’s wares, you have to wait until 00:00 UTC to buy more. Things may be cheaper here, but you don’t get a lot of them. Thus, we recommend being careful with your Teleports.

If you run out of Teleports in the VIP Shop, you can still get them from the Shop at standard prices.

The Mysterious Merchant appears in the Courier Station of your City Hall. She also offers discounts, but her offerings vary from visit to visit. Occasionally, she comes with discounted Teleports, so you should get them at her low prices when she does.

Era Breakthrough is the permanent event for upgrading your City Hall. When you reach City Hall Level 23, you get a free Targeted Teleport.

Types of Teleports

There are three types of Teleports that allow you to relocate your City Hall within the Kingdom. This category doesn’t include the Beginner’s Teleport, which teleports your City Hall from one Kingdom to another. We’ll talk about switching Kingdoms further down.

The three Teleport types are:

  • Random Teleport

This Teleport lets you move to a random location within the Kingdom. You get it from the standard Shop. If you’re feeling lucky, you could give this Teleport a try.

  • Territorial Teleport

If you’re in an Alliance, then you can use this Teleport to relocate to any location within Alliance territory. You can buy them from the Mysterious Merchant and standard Shop.

  • Targeted Teleport

You can use a Targeted Teleport to move to any location on the Kingdom map. The above two shops sell Targeted Teleports, but you can also get them from the VIP Shop or getting your City Hall to Level 23.

Random Teleports are the cheapest ones, while Targeted Teleports cost more. These prices are within the standard Shop, though. Purchasing Territorial or Targeted Teleports from other sellers is usually cheaper.

How to Get More Teleports in Rise of Kingdoms

The best way to get Teleports is through the shops and sellers in your City Hall. As for Beginner Teleports, you get one immediately upon starting a new game. Passport Pages are obtained by spending Individual Alliance Credits or buying bundles.

You have to earn Gems to purchase the three main Teleports in the game. To get Gems, you can do the following:

  • Upgrade your City Hall
  • Play in Events
  • Fight Barbarians and destroy their Forts
  • Complete Quests
  • Link your account to Facebook
  • Follow the game’s social media pages
  • Complete Daily Objectives
  • Mine Gems
  • Get into an Alliance with players who buy Chests often
  • Your Alliance manages to occupy an objective first within the entire Kingdom
  • Buy Gems with money

Ensure you conserve your Teleports, though, especially if you plan to play Rise of Kingdoms without spending money. It’ll take longer to earn enough Gems, but it’ll happen eventually.

How to Teleport to a Different Kingdom

To teleport to a different Kingdom, you need one of two items, a Beginner’s Teleport or Passport Pages. You can use either to migrate to any Kingdom in the game. There are a few conditions, but we’ll get to that in a bit.

Beginner’s Teleports

As mentioned in the section above, you get a Beginner’s Teleport when you first start playing. Reaching City Hall Level 7 also rewards you with another one.

However, Beginner’s Teleports, while free, only last for 10 days in your inventory. You have to level up quickly and use it before it expires if migrating is part of your plan.

Here’s how to use a Beginner Teleport:

  1. Launch Rise of Kingdoms
  2. Zoom out of the main screen as much as possible.
  3. Find the globe at the bottom-right of the screen.
  4. Choose a new Kingdom.
  5. Select “Teleport” to confirm your choice.
  6. The game will restart, and you’ll be in your new Kingdom.

Before choosing to migrate, you have the option of previewing your new or potential Kingdom. The “View” button to the left of the “Teleport” button allows you to survey the Kingdom and give you a closer look. You may even change your mind after taking a deeper look at a few Kingdoms.

After using both Beginner’s Teleports, you won’t be able to get new ones. Once used, you have to buy Passport Pages if you want to change Kingdoms.

The requirements for using Beginner’s Teleports are:

  • Your City Hall is below Level 8.
  • You have idle march queues.
  • You are currently not in battle.
  • You must have no reinforcements inside the City Hall.
  • Your new Kingdom has fewer than three of your characters after teleporting.
  • You cannot be in an Alliance.

Passport Pages

Passport Pages are pretty expensive but buying them will become easier if you manage to join a mighty Alliance. Unlike Beginner’s Teleports, the number of Passport Pages you have at your disposal varies based on your City Hall’s total power rating. The higher your power, the more you need to buy.

A single Passport Page costs 600,000 Individual Alliance Credits, and you have to buy them in the Alliance Shop. They go out of stock, though, so Alliance Leaders or Officers must spend 100,000 Alliance Credits to restock them.

Once you obtain Passport Pages, this is how you use them:

  1. Buy enough Passport Pages according to your power level.
  2. Zoom out of the main screen.
  3. Select the globe icon at the bottom-right corner.
  4. Pick a new Kingdom target for migration.
  5. Select “Immigrate.”
  6. The game will restart, and you’ll now be in the Kingdom of your choice.

With Passport Pages, you can migrate to any Kingdom any number of times. Rise of Kingdoms doesn’t prevent you from moving from Kingdom to Kingdom every other month. The only things stopping you are Alliance Credits and the number of Passport Pages you need.

For example, the “strongest” players in the game who have power over 100 million will have to buy 75 Passport Pages to migrate, requiring up to 45,000,000 Individual Alliance Credits. If you’re not nearly close to that power level, then you may only need fewer than 12 Passport Pages to move.

Since troops and other factors affect your city power, you can employ a few tricks to reduce your power rating and use fewer Passport Pages.

The tricks are:

  • Kill off your siege units
  • Fill up the Hospital
  • Refrain from using speedups

When you lower your power rating, you save many Individual Alliance Credits, and your Alliance Leader won’t have to restock as much. If your Alliance is very rich, then this may not matter to them as much. You’ll more likely than not find the Passport Pages restocked often.

Like Beginner’s Teleports, using Passport Pages also has its own set of requirements.

  • Your City Hall must be at least Level 16.
  • All your troops are in the city, and march queues are empty.
  • Your city isn’t in battle.
  • Your resources should be within storehouse capacities (donate some resources to meet this requirement).
  • It has been at least 30 days since your last migration.
  • The Kingdoms you want to migrate to aren’t participating in Kingdom vs. Kingdom.
  • You must leave your Alliance before migrating.
  • You can only migrate to Developed Kingdoms (these Kingdoms are more than 120 days old).

Imperium Kingdoms are the best of the best in Rise of Kingdoms. Anyone with a city power of under 25 million can migrate to any Imperium Kingdom.

But if you’re too strong to migrate to one, there are yet another set of rules.

  • The King has to approve of your Special Immigration and send you a notification.
  • Governors who apply must meet the requirements above and be approved.
  • Imperium Kingdoms can only approve one player a month.
  • Applications are only effective for three days based on when you submit them.
