Types of KD Ratios

KA/D

KD/A

In contrast to KA/D, KD/A only rewards half points per assist. The formula is:

How to Interpret a KD Ratio

A KD of 1.0 is the average. It means one kill per death. The bigger the number is from 1.0, the better you are and vice versa.

Your KD ratio can vary across different sites because of the several formulas and techniques. For example, unlike other sources, the DestinyKD website does not round up your kills from 0.99 to 1.00. Also, while you can check your recent private mode matches stats, a private match’s data is not included in the other game mode stats. This means that a private match does not affect your KD ratios.

You can track and consult your guardians’ progress in the Destiny PVP by using DestinyKD.
