In this article, we’ll show you how to enable the performance tuning feature and provide a mini-guide on how to overclock an Intel Core Processor.

How To Enable Automatic Tuning

Ensure you have the latest version of GeForce Experience installed and the most current Game Ready driver, then follow these steps to enable automatic tuning:

  1. Open GFE.
  2. Open “Settings” by clicking on the gear icon beside your username.
  3. Ensure the “In-game overlay” option is enabled.
  4. Press the “Alt” + “Z” keys to open GFE’s overlay.
  5. Towards the right of the screen select the “Performance” option.
  6. Towards the middle of the “Performance” panel, click the “Enable automatic tuning” slider to enable it.

Performance tuning will now begin. The software will evaluate your GPU using “an advanced scanning algorithm” so this may take a while. A progress bar will display as it scans.
