How To Enable Automatic Tuning on a NVIDIA GPU wth GeForce Experience
A leading manufacturer of high-end GPUs, NVIDIA has done it again. This time, they’ve satisfied avid gamers and enthusiasts with a highly convenient automatic performance tuning feature for the GeForce RTX 20-series and 30-series graphics card. By enabling this feature via the GeForce Experience software, the graphics card speeds up with just one click.
In this article, we’ll show you how to enable the performance tuning feature and provide a mini-guide on how to overclock an Intel Core Processor.
How To Enable Automatic Tuning
Ensure you have the latest version of GeForce Experience installed and the most current Game Ready driver, then follow these steps to enable automatic tuning:
- Open GFE.
- Open “Settings” by clicking on the gear icon beside your username.
- Ensure the “In-game overlay” option is enabled.
- Press the “Alt” + “Z” keys to open GFE’s overlay.
- Towards the right of the screen select the “Performance” option.
- Towards the middle of the “Performance” panel, click the “Enable automatic tuning” slider to enable it.
Performance tuning will now begin. The software will evaluate your GPU using “an advanced scanning algorithm” so this may take a while. A progress bar will display as it scans.
Increasing Your Clock Speeds With NVIDIA
If you’re into gaming, graphic design, or anything that requires intensive use of a graphics card you will be pleased to know that NVIDIA has a feature for automatic overclocking.
NVIDIA continues to make strides to improve user experience with its automatic tuning feature. Once the feature is enabled via the GeForce Experience software, the already high-performing GeForce GPUs will operate even higher and save time overclocking the manual way.
