How to Find a GroupMe Group Number

Changing Phone Number

In case something happens to your phone, or if you change your phone number, you’ll need to add those changes to your GroupMe account. Here’s how it’s done:

1. Sign in to your GroupMe account and click on your avatar.
2. Once you click on it, you’ll see your old phone number, next to it, you’ll see option Edit.
3. Write your new phone number and click Submit.

Stopping SMS Service

If you wish to disable the SMS service entirely, you’ll have to Log in to your GroupMe account. When you get to your profile, click on your avatar.

There you’ll find a “Stop SMS Service” option. Click OK to stop receiving messages from all GroupMe numbers.

In case you’re still getting SMS messages, text #STOP to any text from GroupMe. This code will end all your communication with your groups and stop other groups from adding your number.
