How to Heal Party in Genshin Impact

Eating food has always been a mainstay of healing characters in video games. But Genshin Impact offers a few more options when it comes to healing. Sure, you can still cook up a dish for HP (healing power). But when your inventory is running low and there isn’t a cookfire in sight, you need some other options. Fast.

How to Heal Party in Genshin Impact

Learn the various ways you can heal your party while exploring the world of Genshin Impact. Some are more helpful than others, but it’s always good to have options.

How to Heal Party Members in Genshin Impact

There are a variety of ways to heal in Mihoyo’s Genshin Impact. It all depends on what’s most convenient for you at the time.

Statues of the Seven

When you first go through the tutorial of the game, one of the tasks with Paimon is to get to a Statue of the Seven. But guess what? That’s also where you can heal and revive your party, too.

You don’t have to go to the first one you located, though, unless that’s the nearest one. Teleport to any of the statues you’ve already discovered and stand next to it. It automatically heals everybody in the party as well as fallen characters. You can even teleport to them when you’re in the middle of combat if your party is in urgent need of healing.

Just remember to interact with the statue to find out how much HP it has left. Once the statue hits “0” it can’t heal you, or anyone else, until it regenerates again. And teleporting to another statue won’t help, either. All the statues share the same restorative pool.

Party Members

Remember how you can teleport to statues to regain HP and revive fallen characters? Even in the middle of combat? Well, party members can help you stay in a fight and restore some HP in the process. It all depends on who you have in your party.

Some known healers include:

  • Bennett
  • Diona
  • Jean
  • Noelle
  • Barbara

Also, some characters like Barbara and Qiqi can even revive characters if they’ve fallen in battle. The catch is that you need to max out their Constellation levels to get this perk. But it’s a handy one to invest in if you end up in a fight that’s too big for you to handle.

Food

Food is the “go-to” way of restoring some lost HP in any game. And Genshin Impact follows those general guidelines, too. But only to a certain point.

Yes, you can eat food at any time to restore, revive and give your characters a few buffs, even in the middle of combat. However, you can’t spam the restorative food button to max out HP. After a while, your characters will get “full” and you’ll have to wait a while to eat more restorative food. The cooldown after the “full” indicator is approximately two minutes.

When you’re at a cooking stand or out in the world, be on the lookout for foods that have a green cross in the left corner and ones that have the wings icon. The cross symbolizes more HP and the wings can revive fallen characters as well as give you an HP boost.

Alternative Gameplay Ways to Heal

You may even find some weapons and artifacts that can heal characters in your game. The healing rate may not be much but, it can make a big difference in the middle of combat.

For example, if you have the Adventurer Artifact 4-piece bonus, you can get 30% healing each time you open a chest in the world. Alternatively, the Traveling Doctor Artifact has a 4-piece bonus that grants the character 20% healing each time they use Elemental Burst.

Some weapons like the Traveler’s Handy Sword can help the healing process, too. Equipping this weapon can give a character 1.75% health points each time they collect a Particle or Elemental Orb.

Don’t forget that you also get a full heal each time your character levels up. Keep in mind that reaching a new level doesn’t automatically revive a character, though. So, if you don’t want that full heal to go to waste, use a revival food first before reaching that peak.

Always Have a HP Plan

When you first start the game, you may not have access to the premier healing characters for your party. But that doesn’t mean that you’re doomed to wander without maximum health.

Have an exit plan, whether it’s the nearest statue or food in your inventory, to make up for the lack of a healer. And it’s a good habit to get into, even when you do have a healer in the party because even healers have their limits.
