Unfortunately, you may find yourself running into issues finding a provider when using PancakeSwap. Let’s find out why this issue occurs and what you can do about it.

What Does “No Provider Was Found” Mean in PancakeSwap?

If you see the “No provider was found” error in PancakeSwap, this means the platform has experienced an issue connecting with your Trust Wallet. Trust Wallet is a platform that encrypts the keys to your cryptocurrency wallet, thus making your crypto transactions safer.

This failure to connect typically occurs when you’re attempting to use PancakeSwap on any browser other than the DApp browser provided by Trust Wallet. You will receive this error because Trust Wallet is not compatible with standard browsers, such as Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. Such browsers tend not to provide support to decentralized applications, such as PancakeSwap and Trust Wallet.

Alternatively, the issue may be that you simply haven’t enabled the DApps browser on Trust Wallet.

Either way, this error means that you won’t be able to conduct any cryptocurrency transactions until you fix the connection.

How to Fix the “No Provider Was Found” Error in PancakeSwap

There are two potential fixes for this error, one of which may allow you to continue using your regular browser when using the PancakeSwap platform. The fixes are as follows:

Use DApps to Connect to PancakeSwap

Using DApps requires you to download Trust Wallet, set up an account, and enable the browser. These are the steps:

  1. Head to Google Play or Apple’s App Store and download Trust Wallet.
  2. Install and open Trust Wallet and use it to create a new cryptocurrency wallet.
  3. Verify your recovery phase and wait. Upon verification, your new wallet will be created.

With Trust Wallet installed on your mobile device, you can now focus on enabling and installing the DApps browser:

  1. Open your standard web browser, such as Chrome or Safari, on your mobile device.
  2. Enter the following into the browser’s search bar – “trust://browser_enable
  3. Tap the Open button, and the page should open in Trust Wallet.
  4. With the page opened in Trust Wallet, your DApps browser should now be ready to use on the platform.

Now that you’ve enabled DApps, it’s time to connect Trust Wallet to PancakeSwap using the new browser:

  1. Open Trust Wallet and locate the DApps Browser icon at the bottom of the screen. It should look like four small squares bunched together into a larger square.
  2. Tap the icon to open the DApps browser.
  3. Scroll down in the browser to locate the Popular header. You should see the PancakeSwap app underneath this header, tap on it.
  4. PancakeSwap will open up within the DApps browser.
  5. Tap on the Connect button at the top of PancakeSwap. Note that you will only see this button if you have not connected your Trust Wallet to PancakeSwap.
  6. A pop-up box containing several options should appear, scroll through them to locate the TrustWallet option and tap it.

With that, you have connected TrustWallet to PancakeSwap using the DApps browser. You should find that the “No provider was found” error has disappeared, and you’re now able to swap tokens using the PancakeApp exchange.

Use PancakeSwap as Your Browser

If you don’t wish to use DApps as your browser, you may be able to fix the “No provider was found” issue by using PancakeSwap itself as your browser. You will still need to download and activate Trust Wallet before following these steps:

  1. Open the mobile browser you normally use.
  2. Head to the PancakeSwap website and tap on the Connect button. It should be on the top-right of the page.
  3. Within the Connect to a wallet pop-up box, scroll through the list of wallets to find the WalletConnect option and tap on it.
  4. The WalletConnect window will appear with another list of wallets that you can connect to.
  5. Scroll through this list to find the Trust option and tap on it.
  6. A pop-up will appear that asks you to open the webpage using Trust Wallet. Tap the Open button to do so.
  7. You should see another Connect button on the Trust Wallet page. If you don’t, force close the platform and then re-open it.
  8. Tap the Connect button.

Following these steps connects your Trust Wallet to PancakeSwap. To confirm that this has worked, open PancakeSwap and check the top-right corner. You will see your Trust Wallet address. Attempt a transaction, and you should find that the “No provider was found” error has disappeared.

It’s All About the Browser

Attempting to make transactions via PancakeSwap using a normal web browser will not work. Unfortunately, most standard browsers aren’t compatible with decentralized locations, which leads to the “No provider was found” error. Thankfully, you can resolve this issue using either the DApps browser or by turning PancakeSwap into a browser itself.

My Dapps can not connect my trust wallet to pancakeswap it always showing white screen when ever i try to use the Dapps to make the connection please help me out
