How to Get in Touch with Paramount Plus Customer Service

After logging into your Paramount+ account, the customer support page includes a List of Supported Devices, Check Case Status, Contact Us, and extensive Help Topics pages.

Paramount+ gives three options for reaching out through social media: Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Clicking on the Facebook link redirects you to the Paramount+ Help Facebook page where you can post issues. What to Tell Paramount+ Customer Support

When you reach out to Paramount+ Customer Support for a technical issue, be prepared to tell them the following:

  • What kind of platform you’re using
  • What kind of device you’re using
  • What app you’re using
  • What issue you have encountered
  • If the issue is recurring

Poor Streaming Quality

If your videos are be distorted, intermittent, fuzzy, or you have buffering issues, try these solutions:

  • Check your internet connection speed. Ideal upload speed is 60 frames per second for 4K or approximately 30Mbps. For lower resolutions, 10Mbps should be sufficient.
  • Try the service on another device.

If this issue isn’t consistent or not present on other devices, ask customer service if there are known issues with your device, platform, or app.

App Crashing

An app crash or freeze is due to an unexpected stop of a signal to the app. The possible reasons for an app crash include:

  • Too much traffic through the app
  • Poor development or quality issues
  • Older version of the app

If you see a black screen, the app unexpectedly closes or the screen freezes, try the following first:

  • Mobile device
    • Restart the app.
    • Restart the device.
    • Make sure the app is updated with the latest version.
  • Fire TV or Android TV
    • Force restart of app.
    • Restart device.
    • Clear cache.
  • Desktop through browser
    • Make sure your browser is updated.
    • Disable any ad blocker software.

    • Restart your Roku device.

Error Messages on Video Playback

  • Firewall or ad blocker restrictions often result in an error code 4201 or 1200.
  • For codes 6040 or 6100, restart your Wi-Fi connection and then relaunch the app.
  • Code 114 may be caused by a VPN that is not supported, an ad blocker enabled, or location services not turned on.

Live Streaming

Watching live content on Paramount+ requires GPS and location services to be turned on.

  • Chrome: from your browser window, go to settings > privacy and security> site settings > location
  • Firefox: click the globe icon to the left of the address bar. Go to more information>permissions>access your location
  • Safari: go to Settings>Privacy>Location Services. Choose your browser and pick While Using App, Ask Next Time or Never

Local CBS Station Not Available

Streaming of your local CBS station is only available on the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME® plan. Paramount Essentials does not include access to your local station.

Cancel Subscription

You can cancel your subscription but how you do so depends on where you signed up.

    • Click “Cancel Subscription.”
  • Apple App Store
    • Go to “Settings.”

    • Click your name.

    • Click “Subscriptions.”

    • Click “Paramount.”
    • Click “Cancel Subscription.”
  • Apple TV
    • Go to “Settings.”
    • Click “Users & Accounts.”
    • Select your account.
    • Select “Subscriptions.”
    • Then “Cancel Subscription.”
  • Android devices
    • From your computer or phone, go to the Google Play store.

    • Click on your name in the upper right corner.

    • Choose “Payment & Subscriptions.”

    • Click “Subscriptions.”Choose Paramount+.

  • Fire TV
    • After logging into your account, go to “Memberships and Subscriptions.”
    • Click “Manage Subscription.”
    • Choose link under “Manage Your Prime Video Channels.”
    • Find Paramount+ and select “Cancel Channel.”
