Unable to Connect to Pluto TV - What to Do

Still, some problems may occur, with connectivity issues being slightly more common than others. In this article, you will find out how to fix any potential problems preventing you from watching your favorite channels.

Fixing Connectivity Issues

General internet connection issues usually cause connectivity issues with Pluto TV. And since you can’t run Pluto TV without an internet connection, you will have to check your hardware and LAN cable or your Wi-Fi router. Try resetting everything, and you should be fine.

You also have to make sure that your devices and connection meet the minimum requirements. Your internet connection has to be at least 5 Mb/s, and it has to be stable; otherwise, you can experience playback issues. If you want to watch Pluto TV on your desktop or laptop computer, it is best to do so by using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Chromecast Connection Problems

When it comes to connecting with other devices, Pluto TV has the most issues syncing with Chromecast. If you are experiencing this issue, there are several easy fixes that can help you.

If your phone doesn’t cast Pluto TV to your Chromecast device, you should first make sure that both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If you’re still experiencing issues, here is what you should do:

Pluto TV

  2. Restart your Wi-Fi network connection, and reconnect Chromecast and your mobile device to your network.
  3. If the issue still continues, reinstall the Pluto app.
  4. If you still can’t get a connection, you probably have a hardware problem with one of your devices.
