Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro – How to Change Wallpaper

There are plenty of different ways to customize your Galaxy J7 Pro and one of the most common is to change the default wallpaper. The software allows you to change both the Home screen and Lock screen wallpapers, thus adding a personal touch to your device.

There are a few basic ways to change the wallpaper on your J7 Pro smartphone. One is a little more time-consuming than the other, but you shouldn’t have too much trouble changing your wallpaper either way.

Use the Settings Menu

You can use the Settings menu to access all the preferences and customization options on your Galaxy J7 Pro. Take the following steps to change the wallpaper from the Settings menu.

1. Step One
   

Unlock your device or go to the Home screen. On the Home screen tap to open Settings.

2. Step Two
   

When you enter the Settings menu, scroll down until you reach the Personal section. The first thing you can tap on there should be the Wallpaper menu.

3. Step Three
   

After you’ve entered the Wallpaper section, select the image you want to set as the new wallpaper or add one from your gallery. If you are adding an image form the gallery, you will have to make small adjustments and choose the portion of the image you want to display.

4. Step Four
   

Once you are satisfied with the positioning of your new wallpaper, hit Apply and choose whether you want the image to be on your Home screen or your Lock screen.

Use Home Screen

Probably the easiest way to set a new wallpaper on either screen is to use a feature hidden in the Home screen.

1. Step One
   

Open your Home screen and press on any empty spot on it. This brings up all the customization options on the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro screen.

2. Step Two
   

To make the desired changes, tap on Wallpaper in the menu that appears on the bottom of your Home screen. Another window should appear on your phone, allowing you to choose the image and set it as wallpaper on the screen of your choice.

3. Step Three
   

Scroll left or right to find the image you want to set as your wallpaper and tap on it to select it. After that, tap on Set as Wallpaper at the bottom of your screen – and that’s it.

Use Gallery

Another way to change the default wallpaper is directly from the gallery of your phone. Here’s how to do it.

1. Step One
   

Go to the Home screen of your J7 Pro or any other location that has a link to the Gallery app and tap to open it.

2. Step Two
   

Once inside the gallery, browse for the image you want to use as a wallpaper and tap on the 3 dots in the upper right-hand side corner of the screen to open more options.

3. Step Three
   

In the drop-down menu that appears select Set as Wallpaper, then choose the desired screen for the wallpaper you selected.

4. Step Four

A preview screen may appear displaying the image you selected as your new wallpaper. You just have to hit Set as Wallpaper once more to confirm your choice.
