The RTX Spark platform solves this problem. It fuses a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU and up to 128GB of unified memory into a single processor. The result is 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance in ultra-slim, power-efficient laptops.

That’s a massive leap in raw compute density compared to current (and upcoming) competitor platforms. The Blackwell CPU’s architecture allows it to process approximately 20 to 25 times more operations per second than the dedicated Neural Processing Units (NPUs) found in rival “AI PCs.”

The result is that NVIDIA RTX AI laptops can run 120-billion-parameter LLMs with 1 million token context locally. In other words, you no longer need cloud connectivity for high-end AI tasks – you can run them locally.

Desktop users won’t be left out either. NVIDIA expects over 30 laptops and “10 or so” powerful desktops like the DGX Spark to be available when the platform launches in the fall of 2026.

Creative and Gaming Powerhouse

In addition to AI agents, NVIDIA promises that the platform is good for “100 FPS 1440p gaming.” Plus, its large memory pool means creators can work with massive 3D projects and ultra-high resolution video files without running out of resources.

The company also says it’s working with Adobe to rebuild the core of Photoshop, transforming it into a 100% GPU-accelerated application for RTX Spark. Adobe is also reportedly overhauling Premiere to enable faster and more sophisticated AI workflows, editing, color, and effects.

RTX Spark-enabled computers aren’t going to be cheap – especially at the start. Lower-tier models are anticipated to start at around $1,800 with full-spec models at around $2,900. The flagship Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra is expected to ship for between $3,000 and $7,000.
